China Glaze Desert Escape
Hey Ya'll!! Hope you are all well and enjoying your memorial day weekend. My husband and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary this weekend! I can't believe it's been that long. I love him more every year.
I just received a super cool Summer specialty collection from China Glaze. This is a six color, limited edition collection and will be sold at Lock and Mane. These colors are inspired by the tones found in the vast desert landscape where glowing pinks and reds are cooled by a serene turquoise and glisten against shimmering neutrals. Just like the desert these colors are hot hot hot! Hope you like them :)
Don’t Desert Me: A gorgeous shimmery fuchsia. The formula on this one was great and went on the nail really well. It is one of the more unique colors from the collection. I did three smooth, thin coats with no top coat.
Rain Dance the Night Away: A gorgeous, vivid turquoise creme. This one is similar to other colors I have and, at first glance, doesn't seem like anything new an exciting...but man is it gorgeous!! You can't have too many bright blues right? The formula was great and I only needed two coats.
The Heat is On: A beautiful bright red jelly. Gorgeous red! Perfect for those hot summer days. This one was thinner so I did 3 coats but it went on very smooth.
Don’t Mesa With My Heart: A really fun, bright bubblegum pink! Yes, I know, you have a million colors like this. But it can't hurt to have one more. The formula is like butter and I only did two coats. Loving this pink!
What’s She Dune?: A very sandy nude. I have a hard time finding a nude that is good with my skin tone. A lot of them make my fingers look red or just blend in completely with my skin. This one is perfect! I absolutely love it! I did three thin coats with top coat.
Meet Me at the Mirage: A bronze-y, shimmery, metallic. I would say this is the most unique from the collection. It goes on so well and it super shimmery and gorgeous! I did three coats with top coat.
Overall I was impressed with this collection. It will be available and Lock and Mane starting July 1st. Which ones are your favorite? I love them all honestly. Great colors and great formulas.
These were provided to me for review but all opinions are 100% honest and my own.
